Dangers of Cigarettes
The main drawback from making a lawsuit against a cigarette company is that, the case cannot state that they were not warned in general over the dangers of cigarettes as warnings are now imprinted on each packet of cigarettes including warnings of what diseases develop because of it. Some of these include:
- 9 forms of Cancer
- Repertory problems including chronic bronchitis
- Coronary heart disease and other heart and circulatory problems
- Reduced fertility, loss of vision among other problems
These are all relatively dangerous diseases if they are found, and if it is traced back to many years of heavy smoking, health companies have the power to decline certain treatments until you can prove that you can quit smoking. This is what makes it difficult for people who have smoked all their lives, to then have to stop because otherwise they cannot receive the best healthcare they can. It is only through my own recommendation that if you smoke to cut down, and then finally stop, so if you are unlucky in the future and you contract a serious illness such as the nine forms of cancer that appear with smoking, that you can say you quit years ago and receive the best health benefits.
